Gusir Höyük ~ 12,000 Y. O. Pillars & Ritual Burials

A first yt look at the important site of Gusir Höyük near Kortik Tepe near the Tigris River. Different layers of Neolithic habitation have been unearthed that go back over 12,000 years. Circular enclosers..pillars...artistic stonework and ritualistic burials are part of the story. The first habitation of this site appears to be in the centuries after the first of the Younger Dryas cataclysm events and right before the second. A site worthy of a you tube video.
